I love roses, and grow many beautiful ones. These I stuck in this cheap little transferware pitcher I picked up from an antique store. I use it in the summer, along with its bigger older sister, to hold flowers from the garden. I snapped a photo to use as a reference. I love the resulting painting -- the blue and white transferware is so pretty contrasting with the delicate beauty of the roses!
